The nest is in Ypsilanti, Michigan. We have a lovely home bursting at the seams with bouncing kitties, books and artwork in progress. It is a busy little home where The Wren's Nest is based.

Gives new meaning to The Throne! Buff In Loving Memory 1989 - 2002 |
Buff, my Maine Coon kitty and familiar, who was born in my bed in 1989 crossed into the Summerland 24 August 2002.
JelliBean was our rescue Himalayan kitty. She joined our home on March 8, 2001. She went to be with Bast 21 September 2004.

In May of 2002, through one of the email lists that I am on, I learned of a kitten in Dallas, Texas. Yes, Texas. Yes, we lived in the middle of Illinois. But I have always had a very special place in my heart for cinnamon orange Maine Coon fuzzballs and well, THIS was a fuzzball. His name was Fizzgig.

On Memorial Day weekend, we left Illinois about 8 PM Friday night. We drove all night, crossing Missouri and into Oklahoma. We stopped in Talequah to visit some of the historic Tsalagi places dear to my heart and then continued south into Texas. Saturday evening we met Fizzgig up close and personal. He was twice the size of any of his other litter mates. I picked him up and he snuggled in. He never even cried as we left his mama and siblings. He was too busy exploring the car. And killing shoe strings. Finally wore his little self totally out. By 9 PM Sunday night, we were back home with Fizzy.

Needless to say, Fizzy took over the house the minute he arrived. No where is Fizzy proof. And he is quite the snuggle baby. He helps his mama lots. And yes, he is into Tarot.
Fizzy at seven months is most happy to have his picture taken and show you just how very handsome a young man he is.

I spend lots of my time on eBay and Half.com (these links take you right to my auctions and books/music/videos for sale).
I FINALLY finished that darn Bachelor's Degree at ISU in December 2002.
And now completed my Master's Degree as well.
